Here is the first of my Glade Riders. Again was painted with a pretty poor brush and though I had nicely layered the colour on the horse, a dear friend of mine pointed out some rather poor finishing work in it’s assembly so went back and cleaned and puttied. This certainly looked better but the paintwork never recovered. Probably should have stripped it and started again but am to lazy for that.
Also testing a new gallery plugin which should make organising pics a little better.
Wow I think that is very nice, of course I am more interested in how you achieved the reflection than the actual model.
Yes I know that is like telling the Mrs that those new boots she is wearing makes her hair look booffy.
But hey, had to mention it. And ask how you did it?
I am looking forward to my 35 Cold One cav in their one-tone black under coat Quinting off against each of your immaculatly painted glade riders.
Ha and to think I wouldn’t field a model unless it was finished.!!
I Break all my own rules nowdays.
LOL I forgive you. …isn’t that magnanimous of me.
Ok how did I achieve the effect? Well as mentioned I’ve installed a gallery plugin. So when you come to adding a photo now you have two choices you can just insert a photo into your post OR upload it to a gallery. You then insert a little bit of code into your blog and voila.
To see what code I used just view the contents of my post. The web20 parameter or whatever it is is what gives that mirror effect, without any effort on my part.
