Ok here is the last Glade Rider I’ll stick up. Obviously there are eight of them but this is a good enough sample. This is one of the ‘kinda grey’ horses. Probably the worst looking. I think I need to go back and blend in the shading a little better. They’re also got faint tide marks on the white from the layering. Once I’m done with the FJ I might go back and fix the two grey horses up at least. On the upside I’m quite happy with the standard which I think looks reasonable. They’ve only been fielded once so far and Pott’s undead cav ripped through as I recall. Was most disappointed having to take them off the field so quickly.
Glade Rider Musician
Here is the musician model. I only painted two of these dun coloured horses and I think they turned out quite well. Certainly better than the greys and thanks to my messing around with the whites ultimately better than them too. Probably the best aspect of this figure is the back of the cloak with the gem stones etc which you don’t really see in this picture.
Ok Gallery is now available see the Gallery link at the top of the page
Glade Rider
Here is the first of my Glade Riders. Again was painted with a pretty poor brush and though I had nicely layered the colour on the horse, a dear friend of mine pointed out some rather poor finishing work in it’s assembly so went back and cleaned and puttied. This certainly looked better but the paintwork never recovered. Probably should have stripped it and started again but am to lazy for that.
Also testing a new gallery plugin which should make organising pics a little better.
