Tiger IE

Starting to run out of photos, will have to take some more.

This is my first german tank I painted, many years ago.  This was taken before I took the picture of the diorama in which the same tank appears.  For that I touched it up as bits of paint had chipped and highlighted a little more and weathered some more.  I really need to get some decals for it to properly finish it and some varnish probably wouldn’t go a miss.  Pictured here showing it’s rear since  already have a photo the reverse angle.

2cm FlaK38’s

These are my FlaK38’s (minus the command team) that I finished off last week.  The guns themselves were painted with Martin’s airbrush about a year ago?  but have only now finished them off painted the crew and based them.  Pretty happy with my work on the camo smocks for these guys, the combat platoons (of which I have no photos yet) are a realm mismatch with me trying different techniques and even colours.  They’re far from perfect but they’re certainly adequate.  I’ve also continued my theme of painting the bread bags ‘luftwaffe blue’ (highlighted to a considerably bright pale shade) because well I think it makes them stand out even if they’re a bit bluer than they probably should be.  Must be my background in painting fantasy figures that makes me want to do that.

7.5cm LG40 Recoiless Guns

Here are my two LG40 Recoiless Guns.  Turned out quite well, largely thanks to Martin’s airbrush.  Must get myself one of those.  Had trouble working out the crew since they were just chucked in with everything else.  Some of these could be FlaK38 crew but I don’t really think it matters.
