I haven’t finished the basing of the 2nd lot but I just couldn’t wait to show off the progress.
So here are the 4 platoons.

In fact you keep telling me about your awesome FJ.. but when have you ever posted a WIP photo?
We were thinking that perhaps you just say your busy but in fact your waiting for your contract painter to do the work, or saving up to pay your contract painter to paint your fig’s.
And that your excuse as to why some look different is in fact covering that you had to change your contract painter?

I’m not very good at wip photos, and lets not forget FJ are awesome because they are FJ not because I have had anything to do with painting them. (Just to clear up any disappointment you might have on actually seeing them)
However I did post above this with some questions and in hope that you might impart some of your bounteous wisdom.
Actually I looked at paintedfigs.com the other day. They seem to only be doing 30mm stuff, or least thats what they advertise. It doesn’t look that great. If I ever did it I might get them to do the base colours and then do the rest myself but honestly as slow as I am I just couldn’t see me using a painter. To me that’s fully half of the hobby if not more.
Oh yes, the Rugby and too f’n canterbury. Have they not had that thing enough already, couldn’t have southland actually lost it to someone more deserving.
