Tiger IE

This is the sister tank of the one posted yesterday.  Though painted much later.  Photographed in this position, (ie from the back) because well thats how the other one was photographed and well it has a casting defect in it’s left side track, so this is it’s best angle.

Painted it with Martin’s airbrush but did a totally rubbish job to the point it looked like some french partisans had graffiti’d it and left it up on jacks.  So the next day I made a glaze out of brown wash and basically obscured the heck out of the camo.  On the negative side this gives it a rather brown appearance (not that you can tell anymore but that is a dunkelgelb base coat).  On the upside though it doesn’t look like something out of the undie 500.  So a mixed result.  Like the other tiger I bored out the muzzle break (which looks really good I reckon) but I did not add the hull machine gun or an aerial.  Probably should do that and decal.  Thanks to some Future Floor Polish in the glaze it’s essentially varnished as well.  Though the tracks have taken a bit of a battering.
