The third and final treekin. (Actually I think I painted this one second but anyway) It was painted much the same way as treekin (2) that is black with successive coats of drybrushed grey and white. I realise drybrushing is somewhat frowned on by the painting elite but it’s very effective on a model with the texture of a treeman or treekin as there is quite a contrast between the raised and recessed areas, it’s not as haphazard as drybrushing can sometimes be.

The second of the three treekin.  Primed black and then successive dry brushed coats of grey and white.  There are a few patches of green dry brushed on as with the brown treekin  Am very happy with it, all the treekin were a joy to paint, it’s almost worth purchasing more just to paint them.  Pretty effective gamewise too in their one outing.
