A call to Generals

Yes we have but 5 days to prepare for our defenses and our offenses in the Operation Market Garden Campaign.

Besides all the other details I thought I should press the point that you need your army lists sorted before you arrive.

Sure there may well be some time during your bye round to sort something out but please have 3 Allied and 3 Axis list in your pocket for the morning muster.

Anyway I have attached a copy of my army lists.

You will notice I have made a list from Mr Lights Cromwells and SHerman force including Mr Lights Firefly tank.

  1. 5 days? I thought we had agreed that this would be the weekend of the 20/21? Or are you expecting us to have our lists prepared a week in advance?

  3. Ohhhh bugger… I forgot about the stuarts! I should add them to my cromwell list too! Although I think I was about 80 points short… and I think stuarts where 150 points minimum?

    And I used the Market garden book not FE

    Anyways I will check the lists tonight.

    Yes 20-21 is the set date… DEFCON now be set back to 3.

    I really like your list presentation… you must havea PDF editor do you?

  4. Further news… Tiger 1E and King are fully tri colured airbrushed as of yesterday… I have some tracks and finishing details to do on them and the 9 Shermans.

    Still have time to hot wire up some poulder raised roads. Flock them.

  5. Well yes I do have a pdf editor somewhere however I just copied your layout and typed up my own in Word. Thats why it looks similar, but isn’t quite.

    Yeah I think three Stuarts are about 150pts. It depends on the list though, obviously, what rating etc…

    You do realise that when you say “Hey, has anyone….” you’re probably only talking to me right LOL. I don’t think Potts follows this hence why I sent my list in email form as well so he ‘would’ see it.

    Anyway no I don’t have a large ground cover mat though I do have …my …large …ground …cover …mat. Hmmm, which is to say I do have the flocked mat that we normally use at my place. It’s 6×4′.
    Do you want me to bring my terrain? I have a few hills if you recall, a bit of river, a bridge, some hardboard roads……

  6. Yes please… bring terrain and said cover mat … I think we can possibly set up two tables.

    However with the games being 600point games we may have 4 x4 tabes.. which means I may be able to habe two tables set up on one trestle table.

    But a third could be usefull.
