Ariel

Speaking of brightly coloured paint jobs this is my Ariel minature.  A more ghastly looking minature I don’t believe I possess.  If I’m fair the style is heroic so you can’t quibble to much about its lack of proportion still she’s rather unattractive and the wings are quite thick, which you can’t really see from this picture.  The robes are pretty good, though my drybrushing hasn’t really done them much justice.  All in all it’s not a miniature I’m particularly proud of but it’s here for completeness.

  1. OMG! How come I have known you how long? ANd Ihave nver ever ever seen this miniture in your cabinet …??

    Can’t say I blame you….

SHe needs a mount.. maybe a purple My Little Pony™ unicorn with glitter?

I think that B**ch that acted the witch in the latest Lion the witch and the wardrobe would bea better model. The english woman.. she was great!

Even the LOTR Lady of the woods would look better.

Lets face it .. it is the butterfly wings that do it.
or in my case not do it for me.

And the hair do.. well Queen Elizabeth I would have that… but it must be full of resin from trees.. elf version of too much hairsprey.

I don’t think you could paintthat figure any better to make what is a poor sculpt into a more feeling model. It has no presence that can be accetuated.

  2. Normally she wears a paper bag over her head.
Well it’s a model from a bygone age and will likely sit at the back of my cupboard until the day I toss it out.
